Next year at this time, we'll be buying school supplies and getting him settled in at a real school for kindergarten. Doesn't seem possible. Time flies when you're having fun.
Yesterday, we found out JT will be moving up to the four-year-old room at daycare on Monday. It's the last room. The room for the biggest kids in the daycare. It really hit home that my little guy is getting bigger. He'll be 4 tomorrow!

Holy Crap. I can't believe it's been two years since we met our little boy. John Thomas Sisco came into this world on August 3, 2009 some time late in the afternoon. By the time he finally made it out, we were all exhausted and excited. He is growing so fast now, it's hard to keep up. It seems like yesterday that he took his first wobbly steps. That was more than a year ago, just before his first birthday. Now, he runs and jumps and plays like a big kid.
I remember almost running off the interstate when he said "Dada" from the back seat as I took him home from daycare. I was only a mile or so from the house, but I still had to call Autumn to tell her what he said. Of course he said momma just a few weeks after he was born. But she did carry him for 10 months. Now, he can say just about anything we say. His favorite is to ask how you are. Hi Dadda, How are you? I'm Awesome! Yesterday, he learned to say motorcycle and Yamaha with his Gramps. He also learned waterfall with Miss Mary. It's been an exciting two years watching him grow and learn, and I hope to enjoy many more! Happy Birthday John Thomas! |
